Peterborough Draughting Services (PDS) was established in 1997 to provide an engineering design and draughting service to local, national and international industry.

Founder and senior designer Richard Minn served a full engineering apprenticeship as a toolmaker, later moving from the toolroom into the drawing office where he worked as a design draughtsman on general production tooling including press tools, jigs, fixtures and special purpose machine tools. Richard was promoted into production engineering and onto management where he held the position of design manager.

The experience gained over many years across a range of manufacturing industries and being involved in both Production Engineering and Design means, Peterborough Draughting Services are well placed to offer the facility of design and detailing of special purpose tools and machines, jigs fixtures, components, sheet metal work as well as being able to redraw old drawings and bring them up to todays standards and specifications. We will also create engineering drawings for technical documents, production manuals and instruction manuals.
